Deputy Commissioner

Stanisław Trociuk - born on 3 December 1964. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, Warsaw University. He completed legal adviser's training.

He has been working in the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights since 1989. Between 1995 and 2001, he has the Director of the Team for Administration and Housing Law at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights.

He was appointed for the position of Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights on 1 January 2002.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw with excellent grades (Summa Cum Laude diploma). In 2019 was awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws, based on the dissertation entitled The statute of limitations to prosecute communist crimes as a tool of transformative justice.

Habilitated doctor of law (2017), professor of the University of Warsaw (since 2020) and Head of the Chair of Law and Religion at the Faculty of Law and Administration.
