Commissioner for Human Rights

Letter to the Chief Road Transport Inspector

Date:

The Human Rights Defender applied to the Chief Road Transport Inspector for obliging his subordinate services to cease actions related to the prosecution of an offence consisting in the vehicle owner’s failure to indicate to whom he/she entrusted his/her vehicle to drive or use within a given period of time. In the Defender's opinion, these actions are beyond the powers granted to the Road Transport Inspection by the Road Traffic Law.
