Marcin Wiącek met with the German Minister of Foreign Affairs

Issues related to the rule of law, the situation at the Polish-Belarusian border, the protection of human rights - these were the main topics of the conversation between the Commissioner for Human Rights Marcin Wiącek, and the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock.

On January 10 2021 she paid a courtesy visit in Warsaw after the new government of the Federal Republic of Germany was sworn in.

Two of the Commissioner’s deputies Hanna Machińska and Maciej Taborowski as well as director Mirosław Wróblewski and Marcin Sośniak participated in the meeting.

Minister Annalena Baerbock was accompanied, inter alia, by the German ambassador in Warsaw Arndt Freytag von Loringhoven.
