Dmytro Lubinets appointed as the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights

Commissioner for Human Rights Marcin Wiącek congratulated Dmytro Lubinets on his appointment as the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
- I believe that your efforts undertaken during the time of Russian aggression shall confirm the uppermost significance of the Commissioner for Human Rights as independent control body responsible for safeguarding of basic human rights. Let me express my solidarity in this challenging time and readiness to maintain mutually beneficial relations between our institutions – we read in the letter to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
Dmytro Lubinets was appointed commissioner by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 1, 2022. He replaced Lyudmyla Denysova, who was dismissed on May 31. He is a member of the Ukrainian parliament, Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
