Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights Adam Krzywoń took part in the General Assemblies of GANHRI & ENNHRI

Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights Adam Krzywoń attended the General Assemblies of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, GANHRI, and the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions, ENNHRI, both held on 10 and 11 March at the UN Palais des Nations in Geneva.
Maciej Kruk, Director of the Executive Operations and International Cooperation Department, and Anna Chabiera, Chief Specialist in the Department for Equal Treatment, also attended the events.
The Deputy CHR also met with Mirosław Broiło, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations Office at Geneva. During the meeting, he presented the CHR's involvement in the work on the Convention on the Rights of Older Persons. The prospects for ratification of international conventions, which the Commissioner has long sought, were also discussed. The meeting also discussed the highlights of the session so far and the outlook for further work of the Human Rights Council this year, as well as an update on the work carried out by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
