Born on July 31st, 1954.

Graduated from Law and Administration at Gdańsk University, in 1989-1991  assistant judge at the District Courts in Elbląg and Malbork. In 1984-1989 and 1991-2015 officer at the Prison Service. Since 1996 serving as Head of Koszalin District Prison Service. Lecturer at the Koszalin School of Humanities and at Koszalin University of Technology. Since 2006 legal counsel.

Important social activities: Social Council Head of the Ministry of Interior Sanatorium in Kołobrzeg, member of the Social Council of the Ministry of Interior Hospital in Kańsk, member of the Social Council of the Ministry of Interior Policlinics in Koszalin. Involved in improving conditions of persons with physical and mental disabilities at the “Social Care Home” in Machownik. Participates in charity events held by the Society of Friends of Children. Since 2011 Secretary of the Regional Council for Social Re-adaptation and Aid to Prisoners for the District of Koszalin, operating at the District Court in Koszalin. Since 2007 Head of the Sports Club “Black-Black”, between 2007-2010  President of the Society for the Propagation of Physical Culture “Poseidon” in Koszalin.   

Privately a plane and glider pilot, supporting the development of aviation in the country and region. Between 1992 and 1998 Board President of the Elbląg Aero Club, in 1994-1998 Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Polish Aero Club. Co-founder of the regional Aero club in Bagicz near Kołobrzeg.

In 2003 awarded with the Silver Cross of Merit. Distinguished with the brown, silver and gold badges “For merit in the penitentiary work”. Granted the title “Man of the year 2003 of Middle Pomerania” and awarded the “Medal for outstanding contribution to the development of Czluchowski poviat”. Awarded the Golden Medal “Activist of Aviation Sports” and the honorary award “Blue Wings”, granted by the National Council of Aviation. In 2013 became laureate of the Anna Laszuk Award, granted by Radio TOK FM. In 2015 awarded the “Ecce Homo” medal.
