Commissioner for Human Rights

A draft act on court experts

Date:
Tagi: sądy

The act on court experts may be able to solve a long-standing problem, namely the lack of comprehensive legal regulation of that institution. The issue is very important for citizens, who suffer losses due to unreliable experts’ opinions, as well as for public finances (and by extension for all tax-payers) because of a large number of rulings adjudging compensations, and for the experts themselves because clear and precise regulations would make it easier to perform their obligations. The Commissioner asked the Minister of Justice for information about the course of legislative procedures concerning the aforementioned draft act.
