Stanisław Trociuk awarded the Honorary Award for Contributions to Legislation

Stanisław Trociuk, the Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights, was awarded the Honorary Award for Contributions to Legislation by the Prime Minister. The ceremony was held on 13 June 2025 at the ‘Legislator in the Service of the State and the Law’ conference, which was organised to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Government Legislation Centre. 
The event was also attended by Commissioner for Human Rights Marcin Wiącek, Deputy Commissioners Adam Krzywoń and Wojciech Brzozowski, and Executive Director of the OCHR Michał Szwast.
The award is an honourable distinction and may be granted for special services to legislation, including achievements related to the performance of legislative tasks in public administration offices and public authorities, in scientific and research work on legislative issues, and in training activities in the field of legislation. During the ceremony on 13 June 2025, other honourees included Ewa Łętowska, CHR for the first term, and Andrzej Zoll, CHR for the fourth term.
Stanisław Trociuk has worked at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights since 1989. From 1995 until the end of 2001, he served as Director of the Administrative Law and Housing Affairs Department at the OCHR. He has been the Deputy Commissioner since 1 January 2002.
He is the author of numerous publications on administrative and housing law, including ‘Rental of residential premises after the amendment’ (1998), ‘Ownership of premises’ (1998), ‘Housing Law’ (1998), ‘Provincial Self-Government’ (1999), ‘Local Government Administration Bodies’ (1999), and ‘The Commissioner for Human Rights Act. Commentary’ (2005).
